The submission file is in Microsoft Word and PDF format.
Figures, tables, images will be sent in Jpeg format.
Submitted articles must comply with the editorial standards and typographical rules described below. Articles that do not comply with these standards will not be evaluated.
Instructions to authors
Your manuscript should not exceed 20 pages, including abstracts, tables, footnotes, and references.
All graphs, tables, or images should be inserted in separate files in Jpeg format.
Authors should send a bio-bibliography of 100 words maximum in a separate document.
Presentation of the article
A4 format, Times New Roman, 10 points, single spaced, justified. Use 9 points for endnotes, indexes, tables, or figures.
Layout: top: 5 cm; bottom: 5 cm; right/left: 4 cm;
Title of the article: Times New Roman, 12, bold, italic, capital letters, centered
Leave two lines apart;
Abstract: Times New Roman, 9, italic; the word “abstract” written in bold, italic
Leave one line apart;
Keywords: 3-5 keywords Times New Roman, 9, italic
Leave a one-line space.
The title, abstract, and keywords will be presented in two languages, one of them being English or French.
Headings: 10 point, left-aligned, 6 point before, 6 point after.
Paragraphs
Paragraph indents (1 cm); however, do not use spacing after section headings, a blank line, a table, a graph, a list, or an indented quotation;
Use double spacing between paragraphs only to emphasize the beginning of an important part of the article (for example, after the introduction or before the conclusion).
Citations
We ask that you translate quotations from another language into the language of the article and present the original text in footnotes. If the expression seems particularly important to you in the source language, you can quote it in parentheses after the translation of the text.
Short quotes: less than two lines. They should be inserted in quotation marks in normal font in the body of the text. These quotation marks should be used to mark all quotes, including single words, with the exception of quotes within a quote: „xxx” for Romanian; “xxx” for French; “xxx” for English, German, Spanish, Italian (or other).
Apostrophe – the form ’ will be used.
If a quote is within a sentence, the full stop is placed after the closing quotation mark.
Example 1: Mrs Woodstone said they were “loud and utterly annoying”.
If the quote is part of a longer complete passage, it should be introduced by a colon. In all cases, the quotation must begin with a capital letter and the full stop goes before the closing quotation mark.
Example 2: After the conversation, Mrs Woodstone said: “They are loud and utterly annoying.”
Long quotations: For longer quotations of 2 lines and any other text that you want to emphasize, you must use a new paragraph, 9 points, left and right indents of 5 millimeters. Leave a line of space before and after.
In a quotation, indicate any modification or personal comment by brackets […].
Footnotes
Footnotes will be placed automatically at the end of each page. They are in Times 9, single spaced, justified without indentation.
Typographical rules
Italics or bold characters will be used as follows:
– for the titles of works and articles cited in the text, the notes and the bibliography;
– to highlight a concept, a notion or a metadiscursive term, etc.
– for classical notations: ibidem, op.cit., cf., apud, supra, infra, et alii. Only the word idem will be written in upright characters
Avoid any underlining.
